    Good

Able to leave bag during day after checking out friendly staff generally

Didn't clean room broken lamp in bathroom didn't get fixed

    Superb

The location of the hotel was excellent - right near Kings Cross station so great base for travelling around the city. There is also on street parking that can be used at weekends for free. We had some recently refurbished rooms, so they were really nice, clean and comfortable. We weren't able to have the exact rooms we booked, but were able to get better rooms for the same price, so worked out better for us. Weren't sure what to expect as the price was so good - but were very pleasantly surprised!

It wasn't a dislike as such, but the walls are quite thin, so you can hear the other guests and they could hear us. We were out late, for a fun weekend, so didn't matter for us - but don't think it's somewhere you could have a quiet relaxing time.

    Very good

For me the location near King Cross is important

The internet connection is very, very weak. I spent 2 hours to reserve flight ticked on internet! Without a/c in the warm days in very hot in room.

    Superb

Excellent location and very friendly helpful staff, the hotel was very comfortable and offered very good value for money, the only issue was the breakfast arrangements which will be probably addressed once the refurbishment is completed. My family and I will definitely stay at the excelsior again

    Good

Clean room. Close to St.Pancras & Kings Cross.

Very small bathroom, not enough room to swing a mouse let alone a cat! Breakfast... You had to walk to another side of the Square as the dining room was shared with a couple of other hotels and would only seat 16 people so be prepared to wait outside in a queue! Very basic so would suggest you get your full english elsewhere!

    Fabulous

That the following were provided: a good breakfast; towels; a kettle & tea/coffee etc

    The bed-mattress was lumpy.

This hotel is going through a refurb so our family room was not at its best and the photograph on the web site was very different. We had to go to another hotel for breakfast which was very small so we had to wait outside for a table. Would not stay again although staff very nice.

    Very good

Room was small but ok for a short stay. Staff were friendly but I had to ask 5 times for an iron. Would stay here again as a last resort.

    Very good

Room nice and clean and recently upgraded

Breakfast could be better - Get rid of the cheap white bread and the pale cheap eggs

The bed was conforable and the rest of the room was not quite as bit as the bed!!!

I alwats take sleeping tablets (prescribed) but I was awoken about every hour as people in either one or two rooms the same size as mie. It was like a "knocking shop" with people leaving and returning. I actually left at 1.0pm the first day and there was no-one to report the situation to. I could not even ask for a return of money for a second night. Just under £100 is very, very expensive and tey didn't even offer a full English breakfast.

    Great location and clean

Very small room, very noisy externally. And no toilet rolls!

    Very close to KingX station

Reception and breakfast place were not located at the block we were staying. The staff said our booked room was flooded and we had no choice but carried our 5 large luggage the 2nd and 3rd (without life and any help from the staff). They promised to give us a room on the ground floor as we requested but failed to do so simply saying that their colleague did not write it down.

    Good

Excellant location for Kings cross etc

Didn't like having to queue outside for breakfast at the Albion Hotel. If it had rained we would have been in trouble. The kitchen facilities are too small to serve 5 hotels, which apparantly was the cause of the queues although I must say for a small kitchen they did remarkably well. And the breakfast was adequate. As we were a mature couple we found it very difficult to climb the stairs to room 20 with our suitcases,

    Location. Comfy beds.

Small and scruffy, shower was cold and the size of a litterbox. Never got to the breakfast as it was allways full and you had to wait in the street with pouring rain. Did get a glimpse of the actual breakfastroom and maybe it was better that we had to eat elsewhere..

    Very good

A comforable modern decorated property which is located approx. 5 minutes walk from Kings Cross Station. We were on a city break weekend with 2 children and this meant very easy access to various locations around london via the Tube.
